Everton FC reveal new home kit

It has been a work 15-months in the process, but Everton have unveiled their new kit for the 2018-19 season.Get more news about Cheap Soccer Jersey, you can vist futbolucl.com !

As part of the ‘Go On’ campaign, which celebrates the Blues, it’s fans and the dynamic City of Liverpool, the kit was unveiled and will be used for the first time against Southampton on Saturday.

The new design sees the evolution of the classic Umbro diamond graphic running around the sleeve – bringing the spirit of the past into an exciting modern design. The kit was revealed via a video and image entitled ‘Go On’, the expression is symbolic of the way in which Everton has constantly moved forward throughout their history - a club of firsts in a dynamic city that is always looking to the future.

The video is set in the build up to match day and features Toffees from across the city alongside first team players. A stirring scouse voice-over sets the tone of the video – capturing the pride and passion of Evertonians and serving as a first look at the Club’s new home strip.Everton’s strong bond with its fanbase is demonstrated by the process undertaken to develop the design of the kit. Over the past 15 months Umbro have collaborated with fans to understand their preferences on colour, collar and other design features. Thousands of fans have had input into the process which was also applied to the away and third strips.

To incorporate this feedback the new shirt features Everton blue with iconic white Umbro taping on the sleeve cuffs – a nod to some of the classic Everton shirts of the 1970s. Alongside this, a contemporary take on a classic collar features with a two-button placket.

Gary Evans, chairman of the Everton Fans’ Forum said: “The lengths that Umbro have gone to listen to the feedback of fans is impressive and has resulted in what we believe is a really strong design for next season.

“As a fan you always look forward to the reveal of a new kit and this one doesn’t disappoint. This is a shirt that Evertonians will be proud to wear.”

The shirt is accompanied by shorts in clean white with a flash of blue on the elasticated waistband – a classic colour combination also referenced in the fan survey. Ergonomic panels and stretch fabrics aid movement, while on the white socks a cotton foot bed adds an extra layer of comfort and completes the iconic colour scheme beloved by many Evertonians.Blues skipper Phil Jagielka said: “This kit is a subtle nod to Everton’s traditions, but is one that every one of us will wear proudly on Saturday and for the season to come as we look to write the Club’s future.

“When you pull on an Everton shirt you are representing Evertonians everywhere, and for this one to be made up of what they want makes it just that bit more special.”

finding a party-appropriate getup can be quite a conundrum for any woman. Sparkles and reflective material that dominate festive dressing have a tendency to pack on the pounds even for pint-sized individuals. So where does that leave curvy, full-figured ladies?Get more news about plus size trendy clothing for women, you can vist 5xsize.com!

Even though the odds are unevenly stacked against the well-endowed at the onset, it isn't impossible to sift out a figure-flattering look or two – if you know what to look out for and, even more important, what to stay away from.

Here are some pointers that will help you nail down that confidence-boosting festive ensemble this year. You might have learnt by now that certain dress and skirt cuts tend to suit certain people better. For example, fit-and-flare dresses and skirts with a subtle A-line style will suit most plus-sized women.

You may even want to try a pencil skirt that is well-fitted but not body-hugging – pick one that is not so severely tapered towards the hem as the linear silhouette will flatter curvy figures better. Stay away from pencil skirts, however, if you are pear-shaped and bottom-heavy, as they will draw attention to your problem areas.

As for jeans, straight-cut or boot-cut styles have a slimming effect, while pants in a tailored fit and structured material are your best option. High-rise bottoms may be very popular, but they’re likely to suit only those with an hourglass figure and a small waist. Everyone else will fare better with a mid-rise style.Know that clingy, flimsy fabric will hug curves in all the wrong places. The fabrics that will flatter your shapeliness don’t necessarily have to be thick, but you will want to stick to structured material to conceal bulges you don’t want others to notice.

Want to wear a print? Make sure that your item of clothing isn’t too tight-fitting, because this will cause the print to appear warped and emphasise the curvaceous parts of your body.

Be careful with stripes, too as they can also stretch and have the same effect. The placement of the prints can determine whether they look good or bad on you too – for instance, an exaggerated bloom over E-cups will draw attention to the expanse of the bust area. And if horizontal stripes aren’t kind to your expanding waistline, try diagonal stripes that elongate the silhouette.

Raleigh Eye Doctor Explains the Dangers of Colored Contact Lenses

Ever wondered what those cool cat-eye contacts are doing to your eyes? If you got them without a prescription, watch out. Wearing colored contacts without a prescription can cause lasting damage to your eyes, especially if they were cheap. Learn more about the risks associated with colored contacts below, so you can enjoy a safe and happy Halloween! To get more news about naruto contacts, you can visit beauon.com official website.

THE DANGERS OF NON-PRESCRIPTION CONTACTS
Contact lenses made to change one’s appearance go by many names: Cosmetic, theatrical, Halloween, circle, decorative, colored, costume, or cosplay contact lenses. What they all have in common is that they aren’t prescription. While it’s illegal to sell colored contact lenses without a prescription, authorities rarely enforce the law, which means they’re easily accessible even though they shouldn’t be. A lack of prescription means the lens will probably not fit correctly, and will probably not permit tear exchange and movement of the eye. This can lead to dry eye and a number of other complications.

RISKS OF UNLICENSED MANUFACTURING
Non-medical colored contact lenses are also often produced by unlicensed manufacturers, which tend to use cheap, inferior plastic and toxic materials, such as lead (a substance often used in lens coloring), which can get absorbed through the eyes into the bloodstream. Illegal contact lenses may also contain high levels of bacteria from unsanitary packaging, shipping, and storage conditions. Since there is no medical oversight involved in their creation or distribution, there’s no telling what really is in a non-prescription colored contact.

COMPLICATIONS ASSOCIATED WITH NON-PRESCRIPTION CONTACTS
Purchasing any kind of contact lenses without a prescription can result in a variety of eye complications, such as corneal abrasions, eye sores, conjunctivitis, eye infections, and vision impairment. As mentioned earlier, decorative lenses are unlikely to fit properly, leaving the eye more susceptible to scratches on the outer layer of the eye, or ulcers (an open sore) on the corneas. The result of a scratch or sore can be scarring, infection, and permanent vision reduction or loss. Bacterial infections can be extremely rapid, and can sometimes cause ulcers or blindness within as little as 24 hours if not promptly diagnosed and treated.
In summary, when you are purchasing contacts to complete your Halloween costume, remember that contact lenses are not cosmetics or decorative merchandise. They are medical devices that should be regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Places that advertise them as cosmetics or sell them over-the-counter, without a prescription, are breaking the law. If the lenses they sold were truly safe, they would not have to do so.

If you are determined to wear colored contacts, you aren’t entirely out of options. First, schedule an appointment with an eye doctor (ophthalmologist or optometrist) who can measure each eye to properly fit the lenses. Once you have a valid prescription that includes the brand name, lens measurements, and an expiration date, buy the lenses from a seller that requires you to provide them. Then, check in with your optometrist so he or she can evaluate how your eye responds to contact lens wear.

The FDA on Thursday approved Soliris (eculizumab) injection for intravenous use for the treatment of neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) in adult patients who are anti-aquaporin-4 (AQP4) antibody positive. NMOSD is an autoimmune disease of the central nervous system that mainly affects the optic nerves and spinal cord.

“Soliris provides the first FDA-approved treatment for neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder, a debilitating disease that profoundly impacts patients’ lives,” Billy Dunn, MD, director of the Division of Neurology Products in the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, said in an agency news release. “This approval changes the landscape of therapy for patients with NMOSD. Having an approved therapy for this condition is the culmination of extensive work we have engaged in with drug companies to expedite the development and approval of safe and effective treatments for patients with NMOSD, and we remain committed to these efforts for other rare diseases.”

In patients with NMOSD, the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks healthy cells and proteins in the body, most often in the optic nerves and spinal cord. Individuals with NMOSD typically have attacks of optic neuritis, which causes eye pain and vision loss. Individuals also can have attacks resulting in transverse myelitis, which often causes numbness, weakness, or paralysis of the arms and legs, along with loss of bladder and bowel control. Most attacks occur in clusters, days to months to years apart, followed by partial recovery during periods of remission. Approximately 50% of patients with NMOSD have permanent visual impairment and paralysis caused by NMOSD attacks. According to the National Institutes of Health, women are more often affected by NMOSD than men and African Americans are at greater risk of the disease than Caucasians. Estimates vary, but NMOSD is thought to impact approximately 4,000 to 8,000 patients in the United States.

ffxiv gil farming
I believe that many players are very curious about ffxiv gil farming. Actually, you can farm ffxiv gil from a plethora of sources, each of them give you a variety of income. Dungeons, quests, the challenge log, and allegan pieces from quest rewards are all very viable means of farming ffxiv gil.

At first, gathering jobs are pretty constant inflow, even if you don't really do the gathering yourself you can give the job to your retainer and send them on ventures for high cost items. Also sending your Retainer on "hunts" as your main DoW/DoM job for MOB drops is good. I know Tiger skins from Stormblood areas were selling well for a while. A lot of lower level area's have similarly well selling items.

Don't fret though if you haven't maxed a crafter out yet, gathering simple low level ingredients and selling them is necessary for other players to level up their crafters. At any given point in FFXIV there are trends in items needed for the new content. Leveraging gathering and/or crafting to gather and/or create these items will always be one of the best sources of ffxiv gil.

If you're doing crafting, Culinarians almost always have something in high demand, since they make consumables the demand will almost always be there. For the other crafters you just have to play the marketboards and find out what people want in the moment. A small warning though, since people generally play during the weekends the prices on items will drop since everyone is flooding the markets. Try to list things midweek, then you can do well in ffxiv gil farming.

Fisher is an easy way to make tons of money. You just levels this one class to 70, which isn't even that hard or expensive, and then take some level 70 gear even without materia melds and start spearfishing. Somebody can fish like 100 with one to two hours, that's 2M ffxiv gil. And this is also the way for ffxiv gil farming.

WoW Burning Crusade Classic's Latest PTR Build Is Live

World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic's next patch is now live on the game's Public Test Realm, allowing players to test out two new raids in the form of Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep, as well as features like guild banks and a group browser tool.To get more news about safest place to buy wow gold, you can visit lootwowgold official website.

The test version of the game's patch 2.5.2 also seems to be curiously missing an emote, specifically the /spit emote directed at other players. Since the launch of Blizzard's MMO, players have been able to spit at other players or characters by targeting them and typing /spit. That no longer works in the latest PTR build, though players can still use the emote on the ground.
Blizzard has not commented on the change, and the emote can still be used in the current version of Burning Crusade Classic as well as the latest Shadowlands expansion, leading players to wonder why exactly the change is happening. According to WoWhead, some are speculating it may be related to players using the emote to harass players who purchased the digital deluxe edition for Burning Crusade Classic, a bundle of microtransactions that include a level boost and a brand-new mount that never existed in the original version of Burning Crusade.

A recent statement from Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick, released in the wake of a state of California lawsuit documenting a history of sexual harassment and discrimination at the studio, states content deemed "inappropriate" would be removed from Activision Blizzard games, but didn't expand on what that might mean. A separate statement from the WoW development team states it would be taking action to "remove references that are not appropriate for our world."

That statement seemed to refer to the removal of NPCs and items named after former WoW game director Alex Afrasiabi, named in the California lawsuit as allegedly having a pattern of sexual harassment. Activision Blizzard has since confirmed that Afrasiabi was fired from the company in the summer of 2020 for misconduct, and items and NPCs related to him have since been removed from the most current version of Shadowlands, though are currently still present in WoW Classic.

World Of Warcraft Removing Inappropriate References

Blizzard has promised to remove content “not appropriate for” World of Warcraft, likely in response to in-game references to creative director Alex Afrasiabi. This announcement comes after a short period of silence following the publication of a California state lawsuit against the company, which alleges Activision Blizzard fostered a pervasive environment of harassment against its female employees. To get more news about buy wow tbc gold, you can visit lootwowgold official website.

“The past days have been a time of reflection for the World of Warcraft team, spent in conversation and contemplation, full of sadness, pain, and anger, but also hope and resolve,” the statement says. “As we heed the brave women who have come forward to share their experiences, we stand committed to taking the actions necessary to ensure we are providing an inclusive, welcoming, and safe environment both for our team and for our players in Azeroth.”
Afrasiabi was named in the suit as a particularly heinous offender in the Activision Blizzard corporate structure. His office was allegedly nicknamed the “Crosby Suite” (likely a typo in the lawsuit, for “Cosby”) in reference to the sexual assault charges against actor Bill Cosby.

Zhengzhou subway flooding a warning for other major cities

The scenes were apocalyptic. On 20 July, a flash flood in Zhengzhou, a city of 10 million on the Yellow River in China, caused a low-lying, kilometer-long section of the city’s Metro Line 5 tunnel to fill with water, trapping more than 500 riders in a subway train. In real time, passengers posted terrifying videos and photos on social media sites, showing people standing in chest-deep water that was still rising. Rescuers, hampered by extensive street-level flooding, arrived 4 hours later, but 14 people did not make it out alive. To get more art in the news 2021, you can visit shine news official website.

Scientists and engineers are still piecing together the chain of events that led to the tragedy, but already they are warning that the lessons go far beyond China. “The intensity and frequency of extreme weather is increasing with climate change, [and] major metropolitan areas around the world are at increased risk,” says Liu Junyan, climate risk project leader in Greenpeace East Asia’s Beijing office. Municipal drainage systems in Hong Kong or New York City “couldn’t handle so much water” either, says Chen Ji, who studies the effects of climate change on water resources at the University of Hong Kong. Just 3 days ago, several stations in the London Underground were inundated.

Many cities may not be aware of the flood hazards their decades-old subway systems face. “To date relatively little research has been carried out on the study of [flash] flooding events affecting metro systems,” Edwar Forero-Ortiz and colleagues at the Cetaqua Water Technology Centre, a private research institute in Barcelona, Spain, wrote in a July 2020 Hydrological Sciences Journal paper. Even less is known about how climate change is adding to the risks. Against that background, “I think that this flood is very important in terms of providing a warning to subway system managers” that they need to take measures to mitigate flooding, says Taisuke Ishigaki, a flood disaster specialist at Kansai University.
Floods occur in China nearly every summer, but they typically get little notice. Flooding in June and July 2020 along the Yangtze River and its tributaries claimed more than 200 lives and displaced more than 700,000. Such flooding typically occurs after prolonged rainfall within a river basin, providing authorities and residents with days, if not weeks, of warning.

The flash flooding—experts call it pluvial flooding—that hit Zhengzhou, in contrast, showed how quickly torrential downpours can turn deadly in a densely packed modern city. The capital of central China’s Henan province, Zhengzhou, is in a semiarid region far from China’s coasts where annual rainfall averages 600 millimeters (mm). But on 20 July, 670 mm of rain fell, with 201.9 mm in a single hour. Water saturated the city, pooling in low-lying areas and flooding many streets. Hydrologist Hu Caihong of Zhengzhou University says the city’s drainage system could cope with a 100-year flood—one that historical data suggest has a 1% chance of occurring in any given year. But Hu says what hit last week was a 1000-year interval storm.

The city’s metro system, which Hu says is designed to withstand a 200-year storm, continued to operate. To prevent flooding, the system’s entrances are raised above ground level. But water had pooled in a metro rail yard in a low-lying area of the city. Around 6 p.m. on 20 July, the water pressure toppled part of a retaining wall protecting an access tunnel that leads from the rail yard to the subway. Water funneled through the access tunnel into Metro Line 5. System operators suspended operations on the entire network at about 6:10 p.m., but by then, the disaster was unfolding.

Ishigaki says it is the first subway flooding accident he knows of that has claimed lives. It is not clear whether the Zhengzhou subway had flood gates. Japan’s subway systems typically do have massive gates that can close level entrances and passageways from office building basements and underground malls, tunnel entrances where surface train lines go beneath the streets, and ventilation shafts. “In principle, the idea is to not allow water to flow into the subway,” Ishigaki says.

But Japan also faces greater challenges, Ishigaki says. Most of its major cities are located where rivers meet the sea, and the subways face inundation not just from rain, but from flooding rivers, storm surges, and earthquake-triggered tsunamis, which could deliver volumes of water orders of magnitude greater than local heavy rainfalls. Such events can be forecast—even tsunamis now come with 1 hour or more of advanced warning—allowing subway system operators to halt trains and clear passengers before they shut the gates.

But, it's important to know how to care and look after your pieces so they can look good and last forever; shopping wisely and taking care of your purchases truly is one of the most sustainable ways to shop. So, every now and again, our favourite pieces need a spring clean - think of it as a maintenance check. Best friends Cristina Mantilla and Duda Teixeira launched their brand with one aim in mind, to create "statement jewellery for the every day". Designs take inspiration from their shared love of the sea; every piece is handmade with shells and freshwater pearls mixed up with glass beads.

Kloto’s authenticity, craft quality and expertise stems from a 40-year family heritage of jewellery making. Designer Senem Gençoğlu, born and raised in Istanbul, spent her summers working at ateliers gaining crafting skills and pursuing her love for design from a young age.

Today, her brand creates meaningful and timeless designs with a focus on responsible production, all made locally by artisans in Istanbul. The pieces are crafted with recycled, responsibly sourced silver and gold and can be recycled repeatedly.Founder Ashley Alexis McFarlane launched Omi Woods in celebration of her connection to Africa and her diaspora, with the aim to help African history live on through future generations. "My grandmother is the reason I started making jewellery and why Omi Woods is centered around heirloom heritage pieces. Her name means shalom in Hebrew and sälam in Ethiopian-Semitic languages," she explained to Who What Wear. "It translates to peace primarily, but also harmony, wholeness, completeness, prosperity, welfare, and tranquility. I reflect on these things as I learn about the cultures and histories Omi Woods pieces are inspired by."

Wald Berlin is in every fashion lover's trinket box. Stylist Dana Roski and model Joyce Binneboese originally started the label back in 2012 and since then it has gained huge popularity thanks to its stand-out pieces. The jewellery is reflective of their travels around the world, with the idea being that each item could be worn in bustling cities such as New York or on tranquil beaches in Bali.

Bonheur Jewellery is best known for its modern, understated, feminine pieces with an impressive celebrity and model following. From Serena Williams to Dakota Johnson, Ashley Graham to Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid to Taylor Hill - the brand is a favourite of many influential A-listers. Designed in New York, the idea of Bonheur stemmed from a particular summer holiday evening in Greece, where sisters Ally and Albina Mataj came upon bracelets handcrafted for them by their grandmother for their birthdays.

The sisters became inspired to start a jewellery line that represented travel and the spirit of New York after they felt the love a single piece of jewellery could make the wearer feel. They launched their label in 2015 and have since then evolved it into the successful brand it is today, which excels in transitional pieces that work from day to night.

A Kennett Square jewelry designer's pieces appear

I became obsessed with antique and vintage jewelry--I would go next door to this adorable little store, and buy myself something every once in a while,” said Kletjian. She found inspiration in her struggle and was determined to stay stylish, so she embarked on her own path and created her own jewelry-making business. She designed her first bangle in 2011, never dreaming she'd see her creations on the silver screen. To get more news about images of jewelry designs, you can visit jewelryhunt.net official website.

But this Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, artist made it big: her collection has appeared on HBO’s Silicon Valley, ABC’s How to Get Away with Murder, and in the film, Bad Moms 2.

Currently, Kletjian is a two-time award-winning jewelry designer. She started as a young woman, creatively mixing and crafting original pieces, which she hopes have enhanced the special moments in many people's lives--including her own.

In 2016, Kletjian won the "Mort Abelson New Designer of the Year Award" at the JA New York Summer show. A year later, her 22K gold signet ring--showcasing a rare and 1.48ct Phenakite by sought-after gemstone cutter Jean-Noel Soni of Top Notch Faceting--was awarded "2nd place for Gold Ring Design" by the INDESIGN Awards.

“Just because you win...it really doesn’t mean anything,” said Kletjian. “You have to work hard and be better than you were the year before.”Kletjian's most popular jewelry pieces, include Evil Eye Charm, Shield, Skulls, or something from her Lucky Star collection.

“It could be a shirt I’m wearing, it could be a gemstone, or how I am feeling at the moment," said Kletjian. "I could be thinking about my children or I could be inspired by a piece that I just created for another collector."take anywhere from two weeks up to, sometimes, four months to create. Kletjian said that sometimes when she is creating or designing a piece she sits with it and lets it speak to her.

“I like to solve all of the problems in your jewelry box,” said Kletjian. “Your jewelry has energy and if it just sits there and every time you open the draw and you look at it and you think this thing, I wish I liked that and what can I do with this, coming from a fashion background I have an obsessive attention to scale and I like to recreate something into new life form.”

One of her most recent pieces is from a client who wanted to transform a pair of earrings and necklaces which had been sitting in her jewelry box into a new piece. Kletjian took the pieces and turned one diamond earring and necklace into a new revamped diamond bracelet, and used the second set to create one for the client’s daughter.

“I think back to my early memories of child-size sparkles under the tree, the feelings of love, surprise, and happiness associated with jewelry," she said. "I feel fortunate to be chosen by collectors to celebrate their love and momentous occasions. I believe in creating jewelry that will endure in quality and style, that can be counted on to be passed down through generations.”
