SEEPEX UNVEILS AUTOMATICALLY ADJUSTABLE PROGRESSIVE CAVITY PUMP

Automated for the best pumping capacity: In the intelligent future of media pumping applications, many aspects will become easier. Seepex is already launching a progressive cavity pump with automatically adjustable stator clamping. To get more news about Progressive cavity pump parts, you can visit brysonpump.com official website.
With SCT AutoAdjust the progressive cavity pump is automatically adjusted to the optimal operating point – simply with one click from the control room or locally on site through the Seepex Pump Monitor via the app. The clamping between the most important conveying elements – the rotor and stator – can be easily adapted to the conditions in the process or the degree of wear. With "SCT AutoAdjust", Seepex has further developed and digitized its internationally patented Smart Conveying Technology (SCT).

Top-quality pumping capabilities through the use of Industry 4.0 properties
"SCT AutoAdjust is the bridge between the world of analog pumps and digital solutions and has a unique technical design," says Dr. Christian Hansen, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Seepex. The pump manufacturer from Bottrop is presenting an automated pump with integrated Industry 4.0 technology. Wrenches and the like are a thing of the past – one remote click or a touch on the on-site Pump Monitor is enough to adjust the stator clamping system in such a way that the pump always provides top-quality pumping performance. Seepex has been setting standards in the area of easy maintenance since 2008 with its predecessor, the mechanically adjustable SCT, and as a leading manufacturer now offers the widely recognized possibility of readjusting the stator clamping. This technology is now being improved once more with the introduction of SCT AutoAdjust. Manual adjustment, for example in the event of wear or short-term process changes, is completely unnecessary here because the service technician responsible can easily carry out all the changes from the control room. In this new pump generation the signals are transmitted via analog signal cables or digitally via various bus systems. Travel to and from the locations where work needs to be carried out is eliminated, thereby saving both time and labor costs. Even in complex plants, where pumps are often difficult to access, the service technician benefits from the remote adjustment option.

Easy integration into existing systems
The control system, sensors and readjustment device are already included in the package. The Seepex Pump Monitor can be integrated on request. The Pump Monitor measures all relevant operational parameters such as temperature, flow rate, pressure, vibration, etc. – 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. This means that the data can be analyzed only locally or, even more extensively, also in the cloud, in the Seepex Connected Services. This makes it possible to measure and optimize pump performance. The degree of wear becomes apparent and any upcoming maintenance can be planned in advance. This reduces downtimes and avoids unplanned outages. Integration into existing process infrastructures could not be easier. Start-up, connection to the Pump Monitor and connection to the cloud are carried out by a Seepex specialist.

The shortest, fastest and easiest maintenance work ever
As long ago as 2008 Seepex launched its Smart Conveying Technology (SCT) on the market and revolutionized the maintenance of progressive cavity pumps. The tried and tested design principle: the Smart Stator consists of two halves and can be easily installed and uninstalled on site without having to remove suction or pressure pipes. Maintenance can therefore be carried out very easily by just one individual. With an integrated retensioning device, the clamping between the rotor and the stator can be adjusted for optimum conveyance if the flow rate changes, e.g. due to wear and tear. This significantly extends the service life of the rotor and stator, reduces the need for spare parts and lowers the life-cycle costs of Seepex pumps.

With the SCT AutoAdjust this retensioning of the stator is now performed automatically at the push of a button via a hydraulic unit, completely without the use of special tools. The newly developed premium model range makes work on the pump considerably easier and therefore helps to save even more time and costs. Assembly and dismantling is still just as easy as with the familiar SCT system. In addition to the usual adjustment of the pump speed, retensioning is a further, much more efficient way of keeping the pump flow rate constant within the optimum range. Seepex enables maximum energy savings and "the shortest, fastest and easiest maintenance work ever. Moreover, life-cycle costs are significantly reduced," says Dr. Tobias Mänz, Project Manager at Seepex. SCT AutoAdjust will be available for pressures of up to 8 bar. The compact dimensions of the tried-and-tested two-stage SCT are retained, so that easy replacement is possible.

Archimedes screw pump

Since the late 1970s WAMGROUP has supplied more than 1,500 Archimedean Water Screw Pumps all over the world reaching diameters of up to four metres. To get more news about SEEPEX Pump Part, you can visit hw-screwpump.com official website.

in 1978 WAMGROUP started manufacturing PA-type Archimedean Water Screw Pumps. By the mid 1980s the Company had gained a leading position among European manufacturers due to the acquired know-how and expertise in production technology. Only logistic problems could stop the factory topping their triple pitch 3.2 metre diameter, 21 metre long, and more than 20 ton weighing monster powered by a 370 kW drive supplied in 1984 to a municipal waste water treatment plant in Rome.
In recent years the demand for Water Screw Pumps has increased again after a temporary slump in the 1990s. In spring 2014, RONCUZZI set a new record producing three Archimedean screws having a diameter of 4 metres each.

Archimedean Water Screw Pumps are a special type of volumetric pump, able to satisfy users’ requirements as regards favourable investment and running costs, flexibility and reliability. In these machines the flow rate varies automatically depending on how much the screw is submersed. The flow rate can be modified by adjusting the speed without moving its yield too far from the maximum value.
PA Archimedean Water Screw Pumps are used in waste water treatment, in drainage and irrigation applications, in the food packaging industry, and generally whenever water (even if containing suspended solids) has to be lifted.

Archimedean screw pump

The Archimedean screw pump is used for constant-pressure lifting of a fluid to a given geodetic height with the aid of a rotating screw (true helicoid), which works on the principle of the irrigation device invented by Archimedes. See Fig. 1 Archimedean screw pump.To get more news about screw pump stator, you can visit hw-screwpump.com official website.

The screw is open on all sides, can be several metres long, is usually made of sheet metal and can have up to three flights or starts. It rotates in an open, semi-circular trough inclined at an angle of approximately 30°. At each turn, the screw scoops up a limited volume of water (determined by the angle of inclination, diameter and lead or pitch of the screw) from the lower water reservoir and lifts it to the top end of the trough at a relatively low rotational speed (below 100 rpm).

Depending on the immersion depth of the screw's bottom end, the volume flow rate of the Archimedean screw pump adjusts automatically within certain limits as the volume of liquid in the individual flights changes. This operating principle presupposes that the screw is constantly submerged in the liquid to at least half the diameter of its leading screw passage and that the clearance gap width between the screw and the sheet steel or concrete trough is not too large (so as to minimise leakage).

The lower bearing is submerged (see Plain bearing) and must be lubricated with fresh water or grease. The upper bearing often is a rolling element bearing and also absorbs axial forces The gear unit is coupled to the upper end of the screw.

Archimedean screw pumps are capable of pumping heavily contaminated surface water or sewage, and even sand if they are specially designed for this purpose. The head is purely geodetic and ranges up to 6 m at efficiencies between 60 and 80 %. Depending on the flow rate the screw diameter can be up to several metres. Archimedean screw pumps are simple, adapt easily to operating conditions and operate economically. However, they frequently have to compete with submersible motor pumps.

ITT Bornemann launches the SLH-4U hygienic twin-screw pump

ITT Corporation (NYSE: ITT) announced today that its Bornemann brand has launched the SLH-4U, a new type of the proven SLH series hygienic twin-screw pump. The SLH-4U is a single-flow, self-priming positive displacement pump that can handle high viscosities, high pressures and sensitive media. To get more news about screw pump rotor, you can visit hw-screwpump.com official website.

The twin-screw pump technology utilized in the SLH series pump has become the hygienic standard in the food industry as it provides the ability to maintain high levels of sanitation and product quality across a wide range of food products. This technology also delivers superior levels of convenience and efficiency. Minimal maintenance is required as there is no metallic contact between the conveyor screw and pump housing. In addition, customers save time and cost because pumping and cleaning are processed within a single pump.

The development of the SLH-4U is based on Bornemann’s years of experience working with customers and understanding the requirements of the food processing industry.

In the SLH-4U, Bornemann is offering the advantages of a hygienic twin-screw pump in a more standardized design than the SLH-4G, which features a wider variety of technical enhancements. This gives customers a high-quality and cost-effective alternative to the SLH-4G in a wide range of applications.

Three Women Who Changed the Tang Dynasty

This isn’t news: Human history is, by and large, a collection of men’s stories, with women serving as a silent backdrop or, occasionally, props. Ancient Chinese family genealogies record only the names of male members; the names of the women who nurtured them are lost to us forever. To get more news about women in ancient china, you can visit shine news official website.

Nothing is absolute, however. For a brief period — less than a lifetime — women dominated Chinese political life. Beginning in the late 7th century, Wu Zetian rose from empress consort to empress regnant, becoming the only woman to rule China in her own name. Under her unprecedented influence, women gained remarkable power. Female officials like the brilliant Shangguan Wan’er participated in military and state affairs while Wu’s daughter, Princess Taiping, took active roles at court.
Wu’s reign was brief. She was deposed in a coup in 705 and died shortly thereafter. Within a decade, both Shangguan Wan’er and Princess Taiping were killed. All three were vilified by historians for centuries.

Today, they have become icons of sorts for Chinese women tired of conforming to patriarchal gender norms. Wu is seen in some corners as a proto-feminist, while activists wonder what might have been if Shangguan Wan’er and Princess Taiping had been able to consolidate power. Yet, viewing these three women through the prism of modernity risks missing what made them so unique and important in the first place.
The Ming and Qing dynasties were the very period when ancient women paintings were developing at an unprecedented rate. The amount of women painters and that of their works as well as their artistic expression through painting languages all surpassed the performances of women painters in other dynasties.
The works of women painters in this period were marked with extensive themes such as landscape, flowers and birds and figures, rich techniques as various as fine and freehand brushworks, dark color depiction and ink and wash as well as all kinds of art forms like album, scroll and fan. Although most of these women painters, due to the restrictions of cultural environment, life conditions and ethical and moral standards in that period, failed to form distinctive styles and their achievements in painting languages could not be compared with those of male painters, yet they naturally poured true feelings on their artistic creation so that their works, graceful but slightly melancholy, were characterized by subtle emotions peculiar to women.
Their works opened the new field of revealing women’s emotion world, thus no doubt possessing unique significance in art history of China. The Palace Museum attaches great importance to the acquisition of ancient women painters’ works. Through channels like purchase and donation, the Museum collects over 250 works of the Ming and Qing women painters, among which many are representative works of key women painters. This exhibition displays 42 representative works of 27 women painters in the collection of the Palace Museum and gives a glimpse of the basic features of ancient women paintings in China. We test a brand new smart door lock you can fit in seconds

Smart door locks are gradually making their way into the mainstream but, take it from me, they can be complex devices. To get more news about wifi front door lock, you can visit securamsys.com official website.

I've been living with a Yale Conexis L1 for quite a while now and, while it performs well and reliably, it was a big job to fit, and it is quite cumbersome.

But those innovative tech wizards at SwitchBot have just launched their own idea of a smart lock and, true to form, it's remarkably simple, versatile, adaptable and cheap.

Just like its innovative little button-pusher, there's no retrofitting required. It just fixes to your door and controls the lock remotely, or with its own thumb-turn.So you don't need keys any more, and you won't need a degree in mechanical engineering to fit it. It literally sticks to your door with some very posh double-sided tape, and takes over the controls.

The quality of the device is quite remarkable, it has a reassuring weight to it, and the mechanicals inside it feels absolutely lovely, it's very smooth in operation.

You can still operate it with your key, if you like, because the front of your door will remain the same, the "bot" is attached inside. But the connectivity options are fabulous. You can open it with NFC tags, smart speakers (with a password) or even through a smart watch.

Of course, you can also go into the app and open it through Bluetooth, and in this app you'll find some cool features, like a reminder that notifies you if you've forgotten to lock your door, or a schedule to lock your door automatically at a set time.

It runs off batteries which last up to six months, and there's a big pack of adaptors to help you fit it to your particular lock type, so it is very versatile. However, not all lock types are compatible, so do some reading up first.

My back door was compatible, and I was literally up and running in a few minutes. It's important to make sure you've got everything right before sticking the unit to your door, because the tape has a phenomenal grip, and you don't want to be moving it, but it's certainly a secure fit.

Once installed, you can calibrate it in the app, and you might need to recalibrate it occasionally - I've noticed this with SwitchBot's excellent curtain devices too, but it only takes a minute or so.There's also a keypad add-on, which I really liked using. NFC tags are probably the quickest and easiest way to get into your house, but the keypad is very robust and smart, and it means you can pass on your code to friends and family if you want them to use the door too. You can also pass on access to people through the app though, so you don't need to invest in the pad if you don't want to.

It's also handy to have a record in the app of when your lock is being used, if you like to monitor comings and goings. There are improvements to be made in the app, truth be told, it can be a bit fiddly at times, but it doesn't affect the lock's operation and SwitchBot is good at constantly updating things.

The lock unit itself costs £129.99 and there's a combo available which adds the keypad for £159.99.

So you'll need to be sure you've got a compatible deadbolt door, and obviously it'll work best if you have WiFi, but this wonderfully versatile gadget is not just a great introduction into the world of smart locks, it's actually one of the best you can buy in its own right.

The Best CAD Software of 2023

Long gone are the days of sketching, erasing, and tracing designs on large drafting tables under uncomfortable fluorescent lighting. Today’s designers take a much more convenient and sophisticated approach, using CAD (computer-aided design) software to create, modify, and simulate products and structures, and the process is much faster with far more flexibility. To get more news about basic drafting software, you can visit shine news official website.

While computer-aided drafting is an excellent skill set to have, finding the best CAD software to fit a person’s particular needs should be a top priority. Building those skills and creating those designs comes next. This guide will help explain the best CAD software programs on the market.
Knowing what to look for in a CAD program is incredibly important. Experienced CAD users might have an idea of what they liked or disliked about their previous software, but those who are new to the drafting world might want some guidance. The following sections will explain everything a CAD shopper needs to know to ensure they’re not paying too much for software that exceeds their needs or wasting their money on underpowered software.

Developer
Software is designed and built by developers, and there are essentially three kinds to consider: large developers, small developers, and open-source or community developers.

Large developers have the resources and teams to keep programs updated and offer top-notch customer support, but the programs are typically expensive. Smaller developers might be more affordable and more niche specific, but they don’t have the same resources that larger developers have. Finally, open-source developers or community-developed programs are usually low cost and provide access to forums, reference materials, and videos, and they’re also updated often.

Each type of developer has its merits and drawbacks. For hobbyists and freelancers, smaller developers or open-source software is usually fine. For those building high-tech products or working with powerful clients, it might be best to choose a larger developer.
Tools and Best-Use Cases
The industry the user works in or their intended use for the program will play a major role in choosing the best CAD software. Designers and engineers building parts with high-tech materials and exacting tolerances for the aerospace or automotive industries will need a more powerful CAD program than those who are designing at-home 3D printing projects. Those types of projects may require basic beginner CAD software.

One might think that upgrading to a higher-powered program would ensure that all of their needs are covered, but this might not be the case. Powerful CAD programs aren’t typically beginner-friendly, and they require some knowledge and skill to even get the drawing started. Instead, it’s best to purchase a program that fits the type of projects the user will be creating rather than splurging for all-encompassing capabilities.

Cost
The cost of CAD programs varies widely. Users can expect to pay anywhere from a few thousand dollars for a program to barely anything at all (free programs do exist). Many offer monthly subscriptions that allow for low payments, but users can often save money by paying for the year (or lifetime license) up front.

It’s usually best to find a program that fits the user’s actual needs first. Purchasing a cheap program because it’s affordable only to find out that it can’t handle the project would be a waste of money. Equally as wasteful, however, would be spending top dollar for a high-powered program with capabilities the user doesn’t need.
Operating System, Processor, and Memory Requirements
For a CAD program to work properly, the computer itself needs to have the power and speed to keep up. First, users will want to ensure that the computer’s operating system is compatible with the software. Some programs may work only with Mac iOS, while others may only be compatible with Windows.

Processor speeds and memory requirements will also impact how the program runs. Computers with underpowered processors may experience program crashes when rendering drawings or making changes. There are two approaches for a user to consider: find a program that meets their current system’s capabilities or be prepared to invest in a new machine.

The high demand for safety systems in the automotive industry is leading to the increased adoption of safety sensors and switches. Dynamic business environment and changing consumer preferences have led to automotive manufacturers offering advanced safety feature in their vehicle. The rising demand for passenger cars and commercial vehicles is contributing to the growth of the global automotive power window switches market.

This market research report segments the global automotive power window switch market into the following applications (passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles) and key regions (the Americas, APAC, and EMEA).

Of the two major applications, the passenger vehicles segment held the largest market share in 2017, accounting for nearly 96% of the market. The market share for this application is expected to increase by 2022. The fastest growing application is passenger vehicles, which will account for nearly 97% of the total market share by 2022.

APAC was the leading region for the global automotive power window switch market in 2017, accounting for a market share of nearly 52%. By 2022, APAC is expected to continue dominating the market and register the highest growth rate of nearly 2%.
There might occur a day when you want to roll down the window and it’ll simply refuse. As power window switches are used extensively, they might fail one day. These switches might face wire corrosion or might get exposed to water. But do not despair, it is a very simple tack of replacing one at home, and it will save you the trip to the service centre. All you need is a screwdriver and voltage tester to fix one back as new.

Step 1: Buy a replacement switch

Before even considering the fact that the switch is malfunctioning, check the fuse in electrical box first. It is possible that you just blew a fuse and the window stopped functioning.
If the switch is indeed broken, open your car manual and check the exact part number. Visit a spare part store and get the required power window switch.

Step 2: Pull out the panel

Take a screwdriver with the flat head (or minus as most people call it) and pull out the switch panel where the power window switch is located. Do not force it as there are some plastics tabs to hold it in place. Gently use your hands to rock the panel once you pry it loose with the screwdriver.
Step 3: Remove electrics

After the panel has been pulled out of its hold, disconnect the power outlet under it. Now carefully remove rockers from the power window switch and do remember the sequence that you disconnect so as to repeat the same for the new switch.
