I mean, yeah your prior remark lays out exactly why the communities suggestions, in
RuneScape 2007 Gold your opinion, are inferior to the machine you've got set up now. If anything the view represented by the OP are far more in accordance with the'vision' of this subreddit (wanting to include both RS3 and OSRS (which in itself is silly being they have seperate content, dev teams etc. but thats like my opinion man)) by stating your articles has a home here but if its regarding anything in specificity to go elsewhere, similar to how the Reddit FC is/was operate.
So instead of tuning ity'all yanked it? Tell me how your staff thinks your system is not fine in comparison with community suggestions. I have received a e-mail I believe to be a phishing attempt, I must sift through the wiki, email'email address that when I type could get me banned for posting a phishing link', receive an answer that says"this email has been discontinued", return to this wiki to discover you have to report it on the forums, login to runescape but not about the phishing attempt tab, return to the homepage not the forum sub-topic you requested, conduct the login temple of despair again, locate the sub-topic, then the post and report the scam.
Rather than requesting a community of 234,037 people and having a bot hit your inbox near instantly together:"If you believe you have received a phishing attempt please verify sender address (example), domain (instance ), here are the common examples (link). In case you have gotten an attempt please report it (helpful navigation for forum article."
In regard to our system"working fine as is," we are aware that it is not ideal, but there isn't necessarily a solution which fulfills issues from all perspectives. Additionally, there are different issues taking up our time, and we're just volunteers, so we don't always have the time to devote to tackle some of the smaller problems. My previous remarks were intended to explain the situation stands as it currently does for the particular issues mentioned, maybe not describe why things won't change. We're open to making changes that would be helpful for everyone.
One complication with post filtering is it can't be assumed users will always use criteria in a place that will visit a filter as this isn't necessarily the case. AutoModerator filters based on particular criteria, so building an accurate list that's only specific to everything you're attempting to catch isn't always possible.
Some users know the way to deliberately bypass filters, which makes them worthless, and when we create a filter overly broad, more articles are filtered than warranted. This generates more frustration for users and much more work for us while we'd like to avoid over-moderating. We might look into attempting to revive a filter for phishing email inquiries, but that is a thing for us to talk in private one of the mod group. The preceding filter was not able to achieve what was desired at the time, so it was disabled for the time being. These posts do discuss an obsession with
Buy RuneScape Gold other filters within our subreddit, therefore some of them are eliminated for different reasons.
