M Line Service Will Stop In BK Wednesday

Subway service on the M line will completely stop Wednesday in Brooklyn, diverting foot traffic to a free M90 bus.To get more news about mline, you can visit shine news official website.

M line service was scheduled to stop Wednesday at 9:45 p.m. and resume at 5 a.m. Tuesday, authorities said.

In its place, a free M90 shuttle bus will make all the M line's stops between Middle Village-Metropolitan Avenue and Myrtle Avenue, according to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

From this route, riders can pick up the J at Myrtle Avenue or L at Myrtle-Wyckoff.

All skip-stop service on the J and Z lines will be suspended, and J trains will make local stops between Myrtle and Marcy avenues, according to the MTA.
J train service will also be increased during rush hours between Broadway Junction and Chambers Street.

All trains were likely to see some variation of a weekend schedule for Labor Day on Monday, a representative said.

While the service is stopped, city crews will remove and replace switches south of the Middle Village-Metropolitan Avenue station for smoother train service, according to a representative of the MTA.

Between Manhattan and Queens, tracks on the 63 Street line used by the F train were being removed and replaced for improved reliability, prompting schedule changes to both the F and M lines in Manhattan.
