Unlike the Windows, Mac devices do not have a snipping tool but it has an in-built screenshot app that works as a snipping tool for Macdevices. There are several keys by which you can perform the snipping function in your Macbook:-
1. Press Shift+Command+5, this command will open the option box where you can choose between 5 different options to take a snip.
2. Press Shift+Command+3 to capture an entire screen.
3. Press Shift+Command+4 to take a screenshot of a portion of your screen.
