Chhorii is a remake of the Marathi horror psychological drama Lapachhapi that narrates the story of a modern-day young couple, Sakshi (Nushrat Bharucha) and Hemant (Saurabh Goyal). Sakshi is eight months pregnant who along with Hemant are forced to leave their house and escape from the city to seek refuge in an isolated house located deep inside a sugarcane field. The house that is inhabited by an old couple seems to have a dark past as Sakshi gets to experience weird things happening one after another while a few secrets start to unravel unfolding mysteries surrounding it posing a threat to Sakshi and her unborn child. What will Sakshi and Hemant do, will they get down to solve the mystery or escape from the house, or is it too late for them?
