2K seems overall dismissive of the talent present on the roster from buryw's blog

It's a shame that I was more than. Many players of the Chicago Bulls have been docked points for their performance from the point they reached last year, and MT 2K23 only one player getting a 90 or higher overall ratings or higher.15 players in the league had a score of 90 or greater, signalling that the consensus view in it is that Bulls do not have a star who could lead Chicago to a championship. In spite of Chicago's All Star team, 2K seems overall dismissive of the talent present on the roster.

Despite the fact Michael Jordan graces the front cover, NBA 2K23 couldn't be more wrong about how talented these present Chicago Bulls are.2K has four currently Bulls players listed among the best 100 players within the game. DeRozan and LaVine occupy the 19th and 23rd spots respectively, while Nikola Vucevic is ranked No. 59 and Lonzo Ball comes at the top of the list at No. 73. Somewhat surprisingly, Andre Drummond is rated as the fifth-best player in Chicago and barely misses the cut.

After that, the roster's ratings as a whole are in a state of disarray. The Bulls backcourt suffers the brunt of the damage, as Alex Caruso, Coby White and Dosunmu have been all slashed one point , when most people would expect them to be better than next season. Dosunmu's 76-percent overall rating is particularly egregious, as he recently earned All-Rookie recognition. A fellow second Team guard Josh Giddey posted roughly equal stats as Dosunmu (and was defeated by Ayo in head-to head matchups) as a starter but was awarded a much higher 82 overall rating.

Rookie Dalen Terry is also given an absurd rating of 71 on the overall scale which places him below even the likes of former Bulls Matt Thomas, Denzel Valentine, Troy Brown Jr. along with Tomas Satoransky. Three of them aren't even listed on an Buy 2K MT roster and the fourth one has the minimum "prove the idea" contract. He'll join the others in case he doesn't improve in a significant way.
